Brock Lesnar MMA Fighter Profile

Brock Edward Lesnar, current UFC Heavyweight Champion, former professional and amateur wrestler.  As an amateur, he won the 2000 NCAA wrestling championship, but had placed second in 1999. He then came out in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) as the youngest person to ever hold the championship, and he did it three times. In 2002 he was the King of The Ring and winner of the 2003 Royal Rumble.

In 2004, Lesnar moved on to the NFL, playing for the  Minnesota Vikings, but ended up being a late cut. In 2005 he returned to wrestling. In his first match since WWE, he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship as part of the New Japan Pro Wrestling. But in July 2006, he was stripped of the title, yet was in possession of the physical belt until June 2007.

Then in June 2007 Lesnar had his first fight in his new career in Mixed Martial Arts. Shortly after, in October 2007, he moved on to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and on November 15, 2008, he took the UFC Heavyweight Championship form Randy Couture.
